The Assiniboia Junior Rebels hockey team had a very successful fundraising month, while marking Breast Cancer Month in October. The team jerseys earned over $11,000 which will be donated to breast cancer research.

Remembrance Day on November 11 is the biggest day of the year for the Assiniboia Branch No. 17 Legion. The Legion鈥檚 membership has been active selling wreaths to local businesses and poppies through its poppy drive.

The Rockglen commun颅ity held a 鈥淒esserts Make a Difference鈥� fundraiser for the Saskatchewan division of the Canadian Cancer Society on November 18. The event took place at the Rockglen Commun颅ity Hall.
