It's more than a decade since I began writing these articles and I wanted to offer something fresh and inspiring. Going over some of my past musings I decided to offer these Lessons from The Sea.

With a variety of bands, choirs and talented performers, the Battlefords have a rich variety of musical offerings. And it seems this atmosphere will continue, as young, developing musicians excel in their music instruction.

A man charged in connection to a firearms incident on Poundmaker First Nation remains in custody pending a decision on bail. Arnold Pete of Poundmaker First Nation was in North Battleford provincial court Friday for a show cause hearing.
