The new outdoor swimming pool was officially opened to the public on July 1 at the Weyburn Leisure Centre. This was held in conjunction with the City's Canada Day celebration. About 935 children and adults registered to swim on the 1st.

Nineteen members of the Weyburn Silver Seals speed swimming club attended the Assiniboia Aquatics Swim Club meet on July 3. Four swimmers won overall medals at the meet.

The Weyburn Chamber of Commerce held their annual Fair Parade on July 5 as a kick-off to this year's 102nd Exhibition. The Chamber chose three parade entry winners in separate categories.

Report from the Weyburn Police Service for the period of June 28 to July 7: *On July 7, at 12:14 p.m. police responded to a complaint of an apartment that had possibly been burnt on 小蓝视频 Hill. The fire was out prior to arrival of police.
