Rig activity stays flat for third week

Every year for the past three years around mid-August Saskatchewan鈥檚 active drilling rig numbers hit the mid- to high-30s in count, according to Rig Locator (riglocator.ca). In 2016, they climbed after that point, in 2015, they dropped.

Rig moves now often start at 5 a.m.

It鈥檚 July 26, before five a.m., and Fast Trucking Service鈥檚 crew have already assembled at a wellsite south of Frobisher. The last time Pipeline News did a feature on Fast Trucking, it was common for rig moves to start at 7 a.m.
