SASKATOON - A man has been arrested following a report of a person armed with a firearm yesterday.
Shortly after 12 p.m. on May 1, police were called to the 200 block of Avenue R 小蓝视频 for a report of a man pointing a firearm at another man. The suspect fled prior to police arrival; however, officers were able to review video evidence and locate the suspect a short time later in the 1400 block of 20th Street West. He was arrested and found to be in possession of an imitation firearm.
As a result, the 26-year-old Saskatoon man was charged with possession of a weapon to commit an offence, unauthorized carry of a concealed weapon, possession of a weapon while prohibited (x2), obstructing a police officer, and failing to comply with court-imposed conditions (x2). He was also found to be wanted on multiple outstanding warrants.
