REGINA — Singer Séan McCann is coming to Regina as part of his tour, 'The Canadian Road Trip.'
On Tuesday, the singer revealed he will be stopping in Regina on May 29 at Harmony United to raise funds for Carmichael Outreach.
"This meaningful event will help raise funds for Carmichael Outreach, directly supporting our mission to provide vital services to individuals facing poverty, homelessness, and substance use challenges," said the organization in a media release.
Carmichael Outreach mentioned that money raised from the concert will support their essential programs, including their daily meal service, providing 250-300 meals to those most in need.
Along with Regina, McCann will be stopping in over 20 municipalities spanning over 10,000 kilometres.
McCann is choosing to keep his tour in Canada in the wake of U.S. visa restrictions, backlash from artists choosing to avoid the U.S. and other factors.
His tour begins May 21 in Sudbury, Ont..
