Cut Knife RCMP performs First Aid after man collapses in court

Search warrant at Macklin address finds local woman charged with possession of cocaine, property obtained by crime and two counts of failure to comply.

Cut Knife Report May 5 – 11

Cut Knife RCMP received 59 calls for service between May 5 to 11.

These files included well-小蓝视频 checks, reports of disturbances, reports of traffic offences, mischief, assaults, sexual assaults, breach of peace, failure to comply with orders, Mental Health Acts, theft of a vehicle, suspicious persons, animal calls, child abuse, Liquor Acts, Excise Acts and assisting other agencies.

Notable files include:

On May 6, during court, a 36-year-old male collapsed and became unresponsive. Members immediately began rendering first aid to the male while an ambulance was dispatched. The male became alert and was transported to Battlefords Union Hospital via ambulance.

On May 5, in the early morning, members were dispatched to multiple calls of an individual pointing a firearm at people. An 18-year-old male was arrested and held for court.

On May 10, members were dispatched to assist EMS with a male in cardiac arrest. Members attended and the male was pronounced dead at the scene. Nothing suspicious about the death and the male was transported to the funeral home.

Fourteen traffic stops were made, resulting in speeding tickets, warnings and roadside suspensions.

Unity Report May 6 -12

RCMP received a complaint of trespassing. Members located the subject of complaint and executed an outstanding warrant. The vehicle was also impounded.

Police received a complaint of a suspicious individual in a rural area near Unity. Members patrolled but could not locate the subject of complaint.

Members received a report of a dog biting a person. This matter is still under investigation.

RCMP received a complaint of sexual assault. This matter is still under investigation.

Police received a report of an intoxicated individual in a rural area. Members located the subject of complaint and transported them to a residence to be in the care of a sober adult.

Members are investigating a complaint of an individual damaging a vehicle.

A 21-year-old male from Unity was charged with break and enter with intent, resist Peace Officer and fail to comply with undertaking condition after members received a complaint of an unwanted individual at a residence.

There were also three traffic complaints and one false 911 call.

Wilkie Report

RCMP attended the sudden death of a 96-year-old male. The death was not suspicious in nature.

Police received a complaint of disturbing the peace but there was insufficient evidence to proceed.

Members acted as mediators in a dispute between two adults.

RCMP received a report of a vehicle on fire near Wilkie. Wilkie Fire Department extinguished the fire, which was not suspicious in nature.

Members received a request from the Edmonton Police Service to deliver a next-of-kin notification.

There were also two traffic complaints.

Macklin report

RCMP received a complaint of harassing communications but there was insufficient evidence to proceed.

Police received a complaint of fraud. There was insufficient evidence to proceed.

A 33-year-old female from Macklin was charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of property obtained by crime and two counts of fail to comply with release order condition after members executed a search warrant at a Macklin residence. This matter is still under investigation.
