Sasha Haltigin and her big sister Nora of Montreal call their business Nosha, a mashup of their first names. They sell clay beads and charm bracelets mostly made by the two siblings and other family members. They were in Canora visiting family.

The Rainbow Hall ladies lunch during Streetfest & Party in the Park on Aug. 17 included: borsch & dill, bread, a cold plate and pie.

A steady stream of hungry appetites enjoyed a breakfast of pancakes and sausage served by the Canora Fire Department.

The СÀ¶ÊÓƵ, hosted by the Canora branch of the Ukrainian Canadian Congress, the Ukrainian Orthodox Church and the Ukrainian Catholic Church, was held at the Ukrainian Orthodox Heritage Church on Aug. 24.

The 79th Rama pilgrimage included 12 priests as well as the St. Philomena walking pilgrims (organized by Deacon Dave Hudy of Melville), who began their trek from Yorkton on Aug, 11, arriving in Rama during the afternoon of Aug. 14.

Fedorchuk told a supportive Canora audience, "“It’s time for change. The Sask Party has represented this riding for 20-plus years. They have stopped fighting for votes and listening to Saskatchewan families."

Canora native Clay Sleeva, who won the SJHL championship while playing for the Melfort Mustangs this past season, brought the Canterra Seeds Cup to Canora for the day.

The Jackie Guy band took to the new stage at King George Park with an appealing mix of old and new music.

Police informed the caller that a loud muffler on a passing vehicle is not mischief, however follow-up was made with the registered owner and a warning was given under the Vehicle Equipment Regulations Act of Saskatchewan.

Eric Holtcamp of Otthon won first place car for his eye-catching 1932 roadster.
