CANORA - Greetings graduates, families, staff, and community members.

On behalf of the Good Spirit School Division Board of Education, it is an honour to celebrate the incredible achievements of the Canora Composite School Class of 2025.

Tonight marks a powerful milestone. You’ve arrived here through dedication, sacrifice, and a spirit of perseverance that reflects the very identity of your school – home of the Cougars. Cougars are agile, focused, resilient, and courageous. You’ve demonstrated all of this and more on your journey through high school.

As a division, we believe in your potential.

Our motto is “Students Come First.”

Our mission is “Building Strong Foundations to Create Bright Futures.”

Our vision is “Learning Without Limits, Achievement for All.”

And today, you’ve proven how these values come to life when passion meets persistence.

Take time today to look around and see the pride on the faces of your families, your teachers, and your community. Their support helped guide you, but your determination brought you here.

You’ve overcome obstacles, grown through challenges, and discovered strength within yourselves that will carry you far beyond this stage. The future is wide open, and your story is just beginning.

As you step into tomorrow, remember these words from Maya Angelou:

“Your life is your story, and the adventure ahead of you is the journey to fulfill your own purpose and potential.”

Congratulations, Cougars. May your next chapter be bold, bright, and uniquely yours.
