Man's death a homicide, Regina woman charged

The 38-year-old victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

Alexandra Crowe has been charged with second-degree murder and failing to comply with a probation order.

REGINA – What began as a death investigation Tuesday afternoon has now been classified as a homicide, with charges laid against a 36-year-old woman.

At approximately 1:15 p.m. on July 8, police and emergency medical services responded to the 2200 block of Lindsay Street following reports of an injured male struck by a vehicle. Despite life-saving efforts, the 38-year-old victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Regina Police Service (RPS) secured the area and called in additional resources, including the Major Crimes Unit, the Regina Police Service Forensic Identification Unit and the Saskatchewan Coroners Service. 

Following evidence gathered at the scene, Alexandra Crowe has been charged with second-degree murder and failing to comply with a probation order.

Crowe made her first court appearance this morning in Regina Provincial Court.
