REGINA — The City of Regina’s Summer Leisure Guide is now available online, offering residents a wide range of programs and activities to enjoy throughout the summer.
From recreation and fitness to creative programming and outdoor fun, there is something for residents of all ages and abilities to stay active and engaged during the warmer months.
Registration opens at 7 a.m. on Tuesday, May 13 for residents and Thursday, May 15 for non-residents. Early registration is encouraged as many programs fill quickly.
This summer, residents can cool off at any of five outdoor pools and 16 spray pads located throughout the city. Full schedules and locations are available at . The City also offers a wide selection of drop-in fitness and recreation opportunities, including Aquacise and Adult Swim. New to the guide this year are several exciting programs designed to bring fresh experiences to residents.
- Adult Sports Jam: This new weekly class at the Fieldhouse is designed for adults looking to relive the thrill of competitive sports in a casual, group environment.
- Yoga - Learn to Arm Balance: Designed for experienced participants, this class focuses on strength, technique and mindset to help experienced yogis take their practice to the next level.
- Craft Circus (Ages 3-5): A week-long creative experience for preschoolers featuring crafts, stories and more at the Neil Balkwill Civic Arts Centre from July 7-11.
- Woodworks (Ages 12-16): Teens can learn woodshop safety and create a personalized wall shelf in this hands-on program running from July 21–25 at the Neil Balkwill Civic Arts Centre.
