19-year-old Regina woman in court on 1st-degree murder charge

Seven people have been charged in connection to the April 24 murder in Regina.

REGINA – A 19-year-old Regina woman who was wanted by police on a first-degree murder charge made her first court appearance on May 7. Priscilla Irene Cyr was remanded in custody and is scheduled back in a Regina court on May 20. Her matter was adjourned to give her time to get a lawyer.

Cyr is one of seven people charged in connection to the April 24 killing of William Allan Campbell. Four are charged with first-degree murder, including Cyr, Dontay Bellegarde, 23, Keli Stonechild, 33, and a 16-year-old male youth, whose identity is protected under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

Two others, Amanda Rae Twardy, 37, and Miranda Kay Jasmine Pasqua, 37, are charged with accessory after the fact to murder. While Leslie Ann Thorne, 28, is charged with forcible confinement.

According to Regina Police Service, Regina police and EMS were called at approximately 5:30 a.m., on April 24 to the 800 block of Victoria Avenue for a report of an injured man. When officers arrived, they located the victim, who was pronounced deceased shortly afterwards. Police didn’t release his name but court documents reveal it is Campbell.
