JAMISON- Mrs. Beverly Jamison, beloved wife of the late Donald Jamison, passed away on Friday, May 9, 2025. She was 87 years of age. Beverly Jean Jamison (nee Holmberg) was born on August 3,1937 on the family farm northeast of Sturgis.  Bev's family relocated to Osoyoos, BC in 1945. Bev attended elementary school in Osoyoos. Later, Bev's family moved to Salmon Arm, BC. Bev met Derek Wariner during her high school years in Salmon Arm and they were married on December 1,1954.  They lived in Montreal as Derek was stationed in the Air Force.  While in Montreal, Richard was born in 1955 and Randall was born in 1957.  In 1958, Derek left the Air Force and the family moved to Los Angeles, California.  A third son, Anthony, was born in 1960.  Bev and Derek were divorced in August of 1965.  After the divorce, Bev moved to Reno, Nevada. She married Don Jamison on May 19, 1967. Bev’s granddaughter, Jessica, was born in 1980 and was cared for by Don and Bev and eventually adopted by them in June of 1987.  A second granddaughter Abigail was adopted by another family in 1982. Don and Bev resided in Utah and subsequently Nevada for several years, where they established a used car dealership followed by The Hub Cap Company. Bev managed the accounting for both enterprises. In 1985, they relocated to Mesa, Arizona, where they continued operating their Hub Cap business. Bev is the second youngest of 10 children born to Oscar and Alice Holmberg.  She has 6 brothers and 3 sisters.  She was predeceased by her sisters Hazel, Marie and Jewel and her brothers Warren, Kermitte, Ronald, Wayne. Bev is survived by her two brothers Kief and Douglas, her sons Richard (Jocelyn), Anthony and Randall, daughter Jessica, 6 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, her nephew Ronald Holmberg and several other nieces and nephews and many friends. In 1988, Don was diagnosed with cancer and ultimately passed away January 21, 1990.  Today, we will inter both Bev and Don.

TOGETHER FOREVER AND FOREVER LOVED.

A service in Celebration of the Life of Beverly was held on June 26, 2025, at the Sturgis READ Club with Crystal Bailey officiating. Richard Wariner shared special memories and Marilyn Harris shared a eulogy. Interment followed in the  Sturgis Community Cemetery. Memorial donations in memory of Bev may be made to the Preeceville Personal Care Home (Box 1150, Preeceville, SK, S0A 3B0) as gifts of remembrance.
