Buckley Belanger among new cabinet members sworn in at Rideau Hall

Saskatchewan鈥檚 lone Liberal member of Parliament will serve as a secretary of state for Prime Minister Mark Carney鈥檚 government.

OTTAWA — Prime Minister Mark Carney's new cabinet is 小蓝视频 sworn in at Rideau Hall in Ottawa.

Saskatchewan’s lone Liberal member of Parliament will serve as a secretary of state for Prime Minister Mark Carney’s government.

Desnethé-Missinippi-Churchill River MP Buckley Belanger will serve as Secretary of State for Rural Development.

He is one of 10 secretaries of state appointed by Carney.

Before federal politics, Belanger served as an 小蓝视频 under the Saskatchewan NDP and as mayor of Île-à-la-Crosse.
