MACDOWALL — Saskatchewan RCMP said there was an increased police presence on Highway 11, about five kilometres south of MacDowall, due to an ongoing investigation at 3:20 a.m. on May 20.
As of early Tuesday morning, the southbound lanes of the highway were closed for an undetermined period. Detours have been set up and drivers are advised to expect delays in the area.
Motorists are urged to slow down and follow the instructions of emergency personnel at the scene.
The RCMP says it will provide further updates as they become available. If any imminent threat to public safety arises, the public will be notified.
