HUMBOLDT — The Humboldt and District Gallery, in partnership with Sage Hill Writing, is hosting a public event as part of Sage Hill's spring poetry Colloquium on May 24 at 2 p.m.
The event will feature readings by award-winning poets Marilyn Dumont and Courtney Bates-Hardy.
“Marilyn Dumont will be leading Sage Hill Writing’s 2025 Spring Poetry Colloquium at St. Peter’s College, and Courtney Bates-Hardy is a shortlisted nominee for the 2025 Saskatchewan Book Awards,” said Rachel Wormsbecher, museum supervisor.
Following the readings, there will be a Q&A session and a community open mic. Both in-person and virtual attendees are welcome to participate.
“Open mic readings should be no longer than five minutes and can be in any format,” Wormsbecher said. “Anyone who wishes to read can sign up at the event.”
