LLOYDMINSTER – The Lloydminster RCMP have arrested and charged a 21-year-old man in connection with the alleged sexual assault of a 14-year-old girl.
On June 26, police received a complaint regarding the assault, prompting the General Investigation Section (GIS) to take over the case. Investigators arrested the suspect and executed a search warrant at hi home.
Tristan Lewis, a Lloydminster resident, is charged with sexual assault, sexual interference, and three counts of failure to comply with a release order.
Following his arrest, Lewis was remanded in custody after a hearing before a justice of the peace. He is scheduled to appear in Saskatchewan Lloydminster Provincial Court on July 17.
