Four injured in Lone Butte helicopter crash, RCMP report

LONE BUTTE, B.C. — Four people were taken to hospital after a helicopter crash in Lone Butte on Sunday, according to 100 Mile House RCMP.

RCMP say the crash occurred on July 6. The severity of injuries ranged from minor to serious, though none are believed to be life-threatening.

"The four occupants were taken to hospital for treatment," said 100 Mile House RCMP in a media release.

The Transportation Safety Board has launched an investigation. The cause of the crash has not yet been determined.

The incident was reported in the area of Lone Butte, which is located near Highway 24 southeast of 100 Mile House.
