On Jan. 6 at approximately 9:50 p.m., police were called to a residence in the 500 block of 12th Street West for a report of an altercation between a male and female where a male had been stabbed.

The EPS dealt with 38 occurrences over the weekend including criminal harassment, theft, fraud and more.

Officers arrived and located the victim laying on the ground with what appeared to be gunshot wound(s).

On the evening of Jan. 4, Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crimes located and arrested an adult male in relation to the death of 30-year-old Melanie Asham-Obey from Pasqua First Nation.

On Jan.聽4 at approximately 1 a.m., police were dispatched to a home in the 1400 block of Cameron Street for the report of an armed robbery.

The victim was transported to hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

Brody Runningaround, 20, and Malyka聽Nahbexie, 23, are each charged with first-degree murder.

Thieves steal tools between Dec. 24 and 30.

The victim has been identified as 24-year-old Lyle Night Jr. from Saulteaux First Nation.
