YORKTON — The countdown is on for the 2025 Yorkton Exhibition Summer Fair, set to bring four days of high-energy fun and family-friendly entertainment to the Yorkton Exhibition Fairgrounds from July 2 to 5.

Presented by the Yorkton Tribal Council, the annual summer celebration has officially opened advance ticket sales, offering early-bird savings ahead of the popular event.

This year’s lineup features a wide array of performances and activities for all ages, including chariot and chuckwagon racing by the EPCCA, the Milord Flying Fools High Dive Show, the Canine Circus, and multiple magic acts including Aaron Matthews and Sitruc James.

Also returning are fair favourites like the Loiselle Creed Petting Zoo, a bustling Trade Show, rock climbing wall, Kids Zone, and West Coast Amusements’ full midway of rides, games and carnival fare.

Each day of the fair will bring its own highlights:

  • Wednesday, July 2 – Seniors Day, presented by Touchwood Agency Tribal Council, kicks off with the Yorkton 4-H Regional Show & Sale. Seniors enjoy $5 gate admission until 4 p.m. and can attend a special tea and live music from Backhome Country. Teagan Littlechief, a former GX94 Star Search winner, headlines the evening.
  • Thursday, July 3 – Kiddies Day, presented by Legacy Co-op, features the popular Kiddies Day Parade and free admission for children 12 and under until 2 p.m. The Light Horse Show begins at 9 a.m., followed by a main stage performance by Saskatchewan’s Kalcey Kulyk.
  • Friday, July 4 – Family Day, presented by the Yorkton Kinsmen Club, offers a $40 Family Pass for two adults and two youth. The day wraps with a high-energy performance by Simply Queen, a tribute to Queen and Freddie Mercury.
  • Saturday, July 5 – Parade Day, presented by Painted Hand Casino and SIGA, begins with an 11 a.m. parade under the theme “Proud to be a Canadian.” Fans can also look forward to the Demolition Derby and two live musical tributes: Chicken Fried (Zac Brown Band) and Mountain Music (Alabama). The fair concludes with a fireworks finale sponsored by Yorkton Hyundai.

Advance tickets are available through Sunday, June 30 at the Yorkton Exhibition Office, multiple Legacy Co-op locations in Yorkton, Kamsack, and Churchbridge.
