Four firearms stolen from resident

Suspects caused extensive damage to a Muskowekwan First Nation residence and stole a dark grey gun cabinet that held four firearms.

MUSKOWEKWAN FIRST NATION — Four firearms have been stolen from a residence and police are asking the public to provide any information they may have.

On July 4, Punnichy RCMP were dispatched to a break and enter call at house 901 on Muskowekwan First Nation. The suspects caused extensive damage to the residence and stole a dark grey gun cabinet that held four firearms.

Taken were:

  1. a .308 bolt action rifle;.
  2. a 22 pump rifle;
  3. a 12-gauge Weatherby, and;
  4. a 16-gauge double-barrel firearm.
