YORKTON - Well, it’s almost that time of year gain when the Yorkton Lions Club puts lobsters in the boiling pot.

This year the always popular Lobsterfest is set for Friday, May 23, again at the Wildlife Federation building at York Lake Regional Park.

Excluding COVID of course, this is the 26th year for Lobsterfest, held in conjunction with the Yorkton Film Festival. In preparing for the event 350 fresh lobsters ordered from Nova Scotia and, for those seeking an option 250 juicy thick 15 ounce strip loin steaks are ordered too.

In addition to the food, the Jackie Guy Band will perform for attendees.

Tickets are $60, and available through yorktonlionsclub.ca, via email at [email protected], by calling 306-782-7077 or from Yorkton Lions members.
